As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will report directly to the Director of Engineering and play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining scalable, robust infrastructure that powers our advanced financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Reliability: Own and enhance the site reliability process from design through deployment, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, high-performing, and scalable.
- Mentorship: Guide and collaborate with the software engineering team, promoting best practices and evolving engineering processes.
- Infrastructure Innovation: Manage and optimize multiple Kubernetes clusters, crafting essential core services to bolster our platform.
- Incident Response: Oversee and resolve production incidents swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing, adaptable infrastructure team.
Requirements:
- SRE Expertise: Extensive experience in site reliability engineering, managing multi-datacenter cloud environments with high standards for uptime and security.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong background in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and advanced software engineering. Capable of integrating open-source and commercial solutions seamlessly.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and large-scale projects, working closely with senior management for strategic resource allocation.
- Cloud Infrastructure Mastery: Hands-on experience with complex, multi-cloud setups and HashiCorp tools.
- Security Know-How: Deep expertise in securing sophisticated cloud network architectures.
