Principal Systems Analyst (Enterprise Asset Management)

Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the process, functional and technical design in EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Solutions. (ERP Products)
  • Able to lead internal and external resources to implement project, change requests with best practices resulting in quality deliverables meeting business objectives and compliance to SP policies
  • Oversee assigned staffs (direct and/or indirect e.g augmented resources from external vendors) on multiple projects and IT operations, with the objective of positively supporting the business
  • Facilitate the governance and project status review meeting; Pre-empt/identify issues, quantify impact, implement remediations, effective communication to stakeholders.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for projects and operational costs within portfolio.
  • Create a collaborative partnership among portfolio stakeholders, enabling effective planning in demand resource planning, project, change management pipeline.
  • Responsible for assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, implementing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as business, vendors, management and information technology (IT) teams during the implementation and maintenance of a system.
  • Work as a Techno-Functional team member in projects relevant to SAP Modules Project Systems, Customer Service, Materials Management.
  • Ensure high availability of business-critical systems (24*7) by constantly improving the existing systems and ability to respond effectively, quickly to incidents.
  • Creating control features to ensure IT systems effectively meet the SP's quality standards and guidelines.
  • Keeping abreast of IT trends, developments, and latest technologies, identifying business digitisation opportunities.

What you'll need:

  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or its equivalent.
  • 8 years+ working experience of SAP PS / CS / MM (and/or) PM modules in SAP Business Suite on HANA (SOH) environment or similar Enterprise Asset Management Products (Hexagon Infor, IBM Maximo etc). Experience should also include the following: Integration and Web Portal apps.
  • 8 years+ experience in System Design and Development.
  • 8 Years+ technical experience in IT system support & maintenance.
  • 5 Years+ leadership experience in team/people management.
  • Adept at Project Management to deliver positive project results with tight constraints. PMP(Project Management Professional) Certification is a plus.
  • Effective communications skills and able to conceptualize, convey complex concepts in a manner easy to understand.
  • Team player, enterprise spirit, proactive and responsive, and willingness to learn new technologies quickly and adapting to new challenges.
