In order to achieve the academic, operational, and financial goals of the school, the Principal will oversee the academic and non-academic team as they carry out their professional duties and obligations.

Strategic direction
- Establishing the school's overall strategic direction and ensuring that it is in line with the strategic objectives and goals of the company.
- Create a long- and short-term development strategy for the school to aid in the accomplishment of its overarching goals.
- Implement and keep an eye on the school's long- and short-term development plans to make sure they are moving forward.
- Consider the school's development needs and make the necessary changes to the plan.
- Ensure the smooth, effective, and efficient running of the school's everyday activities.
- Establish and review the school's standard operating procedures (SOP)
Overall Management of the School
- Create the best learning environment for the children and working environment for the school staff, make sure the school environment is well-maintained and well-resourced.
- To guarantee that kids are learning effectively, utilize school resources and facilities to the fullest extent possible.
- Responsible for the academic, pastoral, and after-school programs that children receive within the parameters of the school's adopted curriculum in terms of their quality, balance, and relevance.
- Ensure that the pedagogy is of the highest caliber, and that the teaching staff properly implements the curriculum framework.
- Support the teaching staff by providing coaching as they track, evaluate, document, and maintain kids learning and progress.
- Retain and record accurate, relevant evaluations and assessments of the learning and development of children, along with any necessary revisions and reports to parents.
- Ensure that all student records are kept private and confidential.
- Make sure there are enough teaching aids and resources to create a top-notch learning environment for young children.
- Monitoring and reviewing teaching and learning standards are part of your responsibility for the caliber of instruction provided by the teaching staff.
- Ad hoc assistance with teaching is provided as needed.
- To create a good, cooperative, and high-energy learning atmosphere at the school, lead, inspire, and motivate the teaching and non-teaching team.
- To help the teaching and non-teaching team reach their full performance potential, coach and mentor them.
- Participate fully in classroom observation, and promptly provide the teaching team with criticism and coaching to raise teaching standards.
- Establish performance and development goals for the teaching and non-teaching team, and assess performance in relation to the objectives.
- Plan professional development for the school team through assessment of the training needs of the team.
- Oversee the hiring and selection of both teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Ensure that new staff members integrate seamlessly into the school's culture, mentor and onboard them.
- Manage the schedule of the staff, including providing resources for new programs or classes and covering for staff absences.
- Encourage the safety and welfare of all students by leading the school team in all child safeguarding issues.
- Make sure that everyone working in the school understands how crucial kids safety is.
- Ensure the application and adherence to the policies through developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures related to student safety.
- Actively take part in the school's admissions process for new kids.
- Prior to admission, make sure that kids records are up to date and have all necessary paperwork.
- In charge of assigning kids to classes while taking age, affinity groups, placement in previous classes, learning and development considerations, and any other pertinent aspects into account.
- It is your responsibility to make sure that all classrooms adhere to the necessary child-staff ratios.
- Create and preserve a professional and favorable rapport with the parent community.
- Maintain prompt, efficient, and regular contact with the parent community to keep them informed of the development of their children.
- Make sure the teaching and support staff stay in touch with parents on a regular basis and establish a professional and pleasant connection with them.
Marketing and Enrolment
- To make the best use of the school's capacity and resources, develop marketing and enrollment management strategies.
- Work together with the marketing team to implement marketing plans that will reach the desired student base.
- Assist the parent liaison staff at the school in cultivating enduring bonds with current and potential parents.
- Participate in and/or organize marketing campaigns and events to enhance the school's reputation.
- When it's practicable, interact with potential parents to explain the school's culture and curriculum. For instance, give school tours when needed.
- Accountable for the school's financial performance in order to meet its KPIs and financial targets.
- Accountable for the school's financial management and adherence to the approved spending plan.
- It is your responsibility to annually set the school's budget and to regularly review it to make sure the institution has enough resources to operate efficiently.
- It is your responsibility to make sure that all school payments are paid on time.
- Work together with the finance team to make sure the BOD receives accurate management reports each month.
- Control costs in all facets of the operations of the institution.
Qualifications
1. An education-related master's or bachelor's degree.
2. Five years of leadership experience and eight to ten years of preschool teaching experience.
3. Prior experience with inquiry-based education is preferred.
4. A leader who priorities the needs of the children as their first priority.
5. A strong leader with the capacity to manoeuvre through uncertainty.
6. A self-starter with the capacity to think quickly and perform well under pressure.
7. A charismatic people-person who can inspire and motivate your staff.
8. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
9. Prior international work experience, particularly in Asia, is highly regarded
