PRIVATE HOME TEACHER (JURONG)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Teacher to provide personalized educational support to students in a home setting. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, and foster a positive learning environment.

Job Description:

. Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on student needs and curriculum guidelines.

. Provide instruction in various subjects, including Math, Science, Language Arts.

. Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.

. Foster a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere.

. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs.

. Utilize educational technology and resources effectively.

. Assist students with homework and project completion.

. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

. Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.

. Overseeing the student's academic progress, providing guidance, and offering emotional support while ensuring their well-being during their studies.

. Accompany the student to school and extracurricular activities as needed.

. Holding a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics / Finance / Education / Electronic Computing, with a minor in Psychology.

. At least 1 year teaching experience (MOE and/or special needs teaching background is a plus).

. Familiar with the curriculum and syllabus of International Schools as well as Singapore's primary and secondary education systems.

. Familiarity with Spanish will be given priority consideration.

. Weekend availability.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM (based on students dismissal times)

Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Working hours will increase during school holidays, and further details will be discussed during the interview.
