We are currently working with a family in Singapore, who are looking for a kind and caring Tutor for their two children. The family want to ensure both children receive the highest quality academic support for the 2024/25 academic year. They seek a dynamic and organised tutor to assist their youngest child with Mathematics, and their eldest Child with Mathematics, English and Sciences, with the overall goal to be assisting in the students in gaining admission to some of the most competitive schools in the UK. - Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience with the MYP Curriculum:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). This includes a deep understanding of the curriculum framework, assessment criteria, and the ability to effectively integrate interdisciplinary approaches into teaching. Experience in tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of MYP students is essential.
Comprehensive Knowledge of UK Admissions Processes:
The candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the admissions procedures for educational institutions in the United Kingdom. This includes familiarity with application requirements, key deadlines, and the ability to guide students and families through the complexities of the UK education system, ensuring a smooth transition and successful admission outcomes.
Proficiency in Teaching Mathematics, English, and Science:
The role requires a versatile educator capable of delivering high-quality instruction in Mathematics, English, and Science. The candidate should be adept at designing engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. A strong foundation in each subject area is essential, along with the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full academic potential.
