PROCESS ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate on problem solving teams as related to compounding and secondary processing

2. Subject Matter Expert in operation of equipment (single screw extrusion, twin screw extrusion, batch mixing using double arm mixer, batch mixing using planetary mixer)

3. Responsible for continuous process improvement that combines quality and efficiency

4. Participate in scale up from laboratory to production for new formulations and processes

5. Research and implement new compounding and secondary processes as needed

6. Responsible for training others as related to manufacturing processes

7. Create and maintain preventative maintenance plan for all equipment

8. Participate with installation of new equipment

9. Other tasks assigned by superior

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or above in Polymer Engineering or related degree

2. More than 10 years process experience in polymer mixing/reaction industry, at least 5 years in twin-screw process process

3. Familiar with twin-screw and batch mixing equipment and project management

4. Good work ethic

5. Good problem solving skills

6. Works independently and efficiently

7. Good written and oral communication skills

8. Ability to work in cross function teams efficiently

9. LEAN manufacturing knowledge
