Perform process design for chemical plants, storage terminals, industrial waste facilities in basic design, FEED and detailed engineering stage.
Responsible for developing process engineering deliverables including PFD, P&ID, calculation reports, heat and mass balance, system descriptions, line list, simulation model, utility consumption list, process control philosophy, etc in accordance with project requirement and applicable codes/standard.
To carry out process calculations such as hydraulic calculation, surge analysis, heat transfer calculation, pressure relief and blowdown analysis, utility consumption calculation, equipment sizing, etc.
Develop firefighting design philosophy, fire water/foam demand calculation and fire water/foam network hydraulic simulation as per local regulation and international code/standard.
Develop design basis and UFD for utility supply system and wastewater handling system.
To participate in design review, Process Hazard Analysis, SIL Studies, 3D Modeling review and prepare close-out reports when required.
Work closely and co-ordinate with other engineering disciplines for preparation of process deliverables and provide process parameter input as required.
Provide regular update to Lead Process Engineer, Process Manager and Engineering manager on process related technical and engineering issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical,Process Engineering or equivalent
Team player with strong analytical and communication skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in oil & gas/petrochemical/water treatment /chemical plants
