We are currently seeking for an experienced and passionate Process Engineer (R&D) to join our Applied Materials - NUS Advanced Materials Corporate Lab. The Advanced Materials Corporate Lab combines Applied's leading expertise in materials engineering and semiconductor technologies with NUS world-class and multi-disciplinary R&D capabilities that span across applied chemistry, materials science and microelectronics process engineering. Key Responsibilities

• Devise precursor and deposition strategies and associated intellectual property. Design chemical processes to find new innovative ways to create, remove or clean thin films.
• Prepare the project plan for semiconductor films growth and execute project deliverables from planning to implementation. Be responsible for project milestones and deliverables within project cost.
• Engage with business unit teams and customers to initiate and complete projects. Own the technical development aspects in the pursuit of the project goals.
• Trouble shoot for root causes to project developments obstacles and engage business unit and broader team members implementing proposed solutions to the problems.
• Prioritize the activities to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science
• Have good working experience in ALD, CVD, MOCVD, PECVD film depositions
• Have working experience with novel thin film growth and characterizations
• Have good understanding of vacuum science and general process and hardware trouble shooting of ALD/CVD platforms
• Have basic working knowledge of chemistry and chemical reactions at interfaces
