Job Summary:
The 3D Printing Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing ecient 3D printing processes across various production stages. This role involves hands-on management of additive manufacturing (AM) equipment, developing process parameters, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement to meet quality and eciency goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in additive manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
- Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
- Communicates findings and proposals to the management.
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Conducts risk assessments.
- Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
- Assist in quality check on shop drawings and manage submission/approval progress.
- Collaborating with engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes.
- Developing and implementing continuous process improvements and technological upgrades.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science,
or related field. - 2+ years in a manufacturing or engineering role, with specific experience in additive
manufacturing / precast concrete / 3D printing preferred. - Proficiency in 3D printing software: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office & Rhinoceros3D preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eective communication skills to work with cross-funconal teams and present ndings.
- Ability to persuade others to change existing practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analycal abilities.
