Job responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, i.e. NEA, MHD, SCDF
- To follow up closely with any tank farm maintenance and repair works
- To coordinate closely with maintenance team on progress of pending work
- To check in with suppliers for pending equipment and parts or service
- To supervise and report progress on repair or cleaning works in tank farm
- To coordinate with external consultants and project team for updating of P&ID to ensure it is up to date
- Advise slop department on operational improvement for long term continuity
- Ensure operational records are properly filed and sent to management
- Assist with correcting mistakes in reports if any
- Follow through for work to be done so as to ensure yearly audit by any agency to be up to standard and to correct any NCs as soon as possible where applicable
- Assist with other departments as required by Terminal Manager or management
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in chemical engineering or petrochemical engineering.
- 2 years working experience in a petrochemical plant or oil refinery is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of chemical process, and chemical process safety handling.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, excellent spoken and written skills.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and any other CAD design software is desirable.
- Able to work independently and a multitasker.
