- Position Title: Process & Manufacturing Technician/Engineer (2D CAD Designer/Drafter)
- Working Location: Serangoon North
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
- Salary Package: Up to $3,800 + VB
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs).
- Design and define die cutting tooling.
- Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD Drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, and Working Instructions.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, including efficiency, speed, and cost.
- Provide support for production troubleshooting and manage production delays.
- Promote continuous improvement in operational KPIs (Scrap, Efficiency, Cost, Yield, Customer Complaints, Audits, etc.).
- Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
- Implement cost-reduction strategies while maximizing quality.
- Train staff in both new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and team members to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing procedures.
- Study and upgrade systems and processes with new technologies.

- Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Prior experience in continuous process improvement culture/approach
- Proficient in CAD 2D software.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 audits, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with laser machines will be an added advantage.
