Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
- Conduct process simulations and tests to evaluate the feasibility of new processes.
- Provide maintenance and come up with a maintenance schedule for machines, jigs and fixtures.
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues, recommending and implementing solutions.
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all processes and projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Conduct time study to get UPH
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or project management
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
