Lead in product transfer and new product introduction.
Accountable for supplier selection, development and strategies alliances
Responsible for the development and implementation procurement cost reduction and vendor managed inventory program.
Handle and manage RFQ/RFP, commercial evaluations, price negotiations, PO/Contract awards and PO/Contract administration to final delivery and PO/Contract close out - Ensuring that the Company's best interest is consistently achieved
Ensure that the procurement process is in adherence to Company and Client requirements, Company policies and procedures
Build and develop relationships with Suppliers and Contractors, manage relationships and build effective partnerships
Monitor and review market conditions, price and delivery trends for project materials, equipment and works
Ensure that the monthly procurement reports and cost saving / cost avoidance statistics are reported on-time to the Procurement Manager
Support organizational goals and objectives
Any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or the Head of Department
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
Team player with positive attitude
Understanding of negotiation of commercial terms in awarding sales agreements to vendors
Strong Electrical/Electronics knowledge in General Electronics Commodity
Able to work under fast-paced environment
3-5 years or more experience in a supply chain position (sourcing/ buying) in Sheet Metal or related industry
