JOB PURPOSEThe role is primarily responsible to assist the Procurement Manager in the management of product sales performance and yield studies of the fresh categories.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage allsuppliers & contractedpartners.
Monitor product sales, margin, mix & range, promotions to achieve pre-set KPIs.
- Manage standing orders, central purchasedordersand direct supplies
Work with stakeholders to develop customise product mix to achieve higher returns.- Coordinate to organize onsite-offers/ thematic promotions and publicised offers on press and social media to meet KPIs prescribed by management.
Source for new leads from source of origin or main principle supply.
- Compile reports and conduct presentations to management and/or panel of stakeholders.
Visit customers regularly.- Attend overseas procurement, inspection visits and trade events when required.
Other tasks as and when assigned.
At least 2 years of procurement or demand planning experience.
- Prior buying/supply experience in the supermarket retail trade will be giving priority
Possess valid driving license and own transport preferred.- Self-motivated and target driven.
Meticulous and analytical.
- Skillful negotiator and effective communicator.
Strong IT literacy proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.- 25 days work week (Alternate Saturday)

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
