Job Description:

• Supporting the vessel manager in purchasing spare parts & consumables for ships
• Responsible for document control (e.g. maintain check list of periodic reporting due from vessel)
• Keeping record of the technical operating costs, Verification of Invoices and DAs
• Arranging and coordinating logistics for supplies and service arrangements for ship
• Assist in arranging routine vessel repairs
• Assisting Technical Superintendent with daily operations of the vessels

Job Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar role
• Experience working in ship management, a ship-owning company, or a purchasing department within the marine/shipping industry, specifically involving vessels on international voyages, is required
• Ability to work independently
