Key Roles and Responsibilities
As a Procurement Intern, you'll support the procurement team with tasks like analyzing supplier quotations, assisting in tender preparation, and conducting vendor credit risk assessments. This role offers valuable experience in procurement practices within a corporate setting. 1. Quotation Analysis: Assist in comparing supplier quotations for pricing and terms.
- Tender Preparation Support: Aid in organizing tender documents and ensuring accuracy.
- Vendor Credit Risk Assessment: Help evaluate potential vendors financial stability.
- Procurement Process Support: Assist in tender opening and evaluation processes.
- Contract Management Assistance: Support in monitoring contract performance and documentation.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties and maintain procurement records.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
Education: Studying towards a degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze supplier quotes and financial data.
Attention to Detail: Focus on accurate document preparation and record-keeping.
Organizational Skills: Efficient task management.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written abilities.
Computer Proficiency: Knowledge of office software.
Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for addressing procurement-related issues.
