Key Responsibilities:
- Constantly benchmark the market to ensure unbeatable costs in the region.
- Inform and share knowledge with the business on market trends and cost developments
- Be a champion for sustainability within the region for the ocean category
- Owning and executing the regional ocean strategy.
- Creating and owning procurement frameworks on contract negotiations, periodic business reviews, and cross-departmental interactions with suppliers.
- Understand and constantly research macro and micro trends that could impact the ocean strategy, service levels, and cost base in the region.
- Maintain a constant feedback loop with small spend markets to ensure standardization and spend control in these markets.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
Key Requirements:
- 5-10 years procurement experience in Container Shipping and Freight forwarding within APAC
- Bachelor/Diploma in related field
- Experience with tendering, procurement, and freight platforms
- Proven with Leadership experience
Additional Information
- Location: South
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Hybrid
- Willing to Travel 3-4 times a year
