Job Overview
Provide Project Management Support to the Category Leader and the team.
Provide support for primarily the Procurement Value Capture Campaigns (including commercial, demand management, process management and specification levers) to drive commercial and TCO savings initiatives across various sub-categories and Business Units and Groups.
Detailed quantitative analysis and problem solving as required to support projects identified to deliver value.
Travel as required to support campaigns and other key initiatives.
Principal AccountabilitiesProject Management Officer Responsibilities:
Use Project Management Tools to manage resources, tasks and timeline
Ensure the Amcor Way and Procure Plus and Campaign Playbooks are followed
Development of project reports related to campaign progress and for visualization of analytical work
Proactively drive process and timelines to ensure project milestones and campaigns are executed on time
Engage stakeholders at all levels of the business
Project planning including resource planning, cadence and capability build
Organise and lead project meetings ensuring full project governance
Obtaining complete and accurate figures for projects
Act as focal point for tracking initiative deliverables including ideas, plans, implemented and impact actions
Set up central repository of key resources and work product established during campaigns
Deliver PMO training
Support development of category should cost models and benchmarks for assessment of cost effectiveness
Continuous development of category / campaign playbook and associated policy, processes and tools
Participate in Global Category Workshops and Category Councils as required
Qualifications/Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
University degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum of 8 10 years of relevant work experience in procurement
Regional experience in Asia preferred
Fluent in English; Fluency in Mandarin ideal
Project Management Skills
Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Problem Solving and Judgement
Strong communication skill and ability to influence stakeholders
Sound financial understanding and analytical ability
Solid understanding of Procurement processes
Highly organised, process oriented and proactive
