Role Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier and their performance to ensure uninterrupted supply and quality.
• Create local/regional/global savings opportunities.
• Support the delivery of working capital targets and creditor targets for the site.
• Ensure control and responsibility for expenditure of company funds.
• Develop and implement business procurement strategies for assigned products, consistent with global or local procurement plans.
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers for raw materials within the value of spend.
• Establish project management discipline for identifying and tracking tasks, resources, milestones, and measures for projects.
• Communicate with key stakeholders on projects to ensure mutual understanding of objectives and priorities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering with
• Minimum 5 years relevant purchasing experience
• Good understanding of purchasing processes and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective cross-functional team member with good conflict resolution skills
• Good team player
• Strong negotiation skills
• Customer focused and results driven
• Proficiency in MS office
