DESIGNATION : Producer, CNA Insider Growth Team (Current Affairs)
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a creative individual with a passion and aptitude for story-telling; plus a keen intuition for what engages today's digital audiences.
Your job will involve writing, working with visuals, understanding audience data, and assisting in cross-platform content strategies.
You will help with articles and other write-ups, and producing engaging stories in snackable form on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. You will also work with the audience growth team to help optimise engagement on various digital platforms.
All this will entail tapping into CNA Insider's rich trove of documentaries and current affairs shows; and you will get the chance to collaborate with the talented stable of producers who generate these.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Strong writing skills with an ability to tell engaging and easy-to-understand stories; plus a good sense of how to curate and use visuals
Be a native of social media and networking platforms (eg TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Telegram, and more), well versed in what their users are connecting with
A sense of imagination, curiosity and versatility is a must - as is a habit of being meticulous
Must keep up with current events, and be able to digest and distil complex issues clearly
Basic competency in video editing, graphics or design is a plus
Basic grasp of data analytics is a bonus as well
Should have work experience in a newsroom or content creation role
Must work well in a team and under pressure with tight timelines.
