Responsibilities:
- Industrial Trends & Insights: Analyze market trends, data, and customer insights to generate ideas for NPD.
- Product Positioning: Define competitive positioning and unique selling propositions (USP).
- NPD Leadership: Oversee the entire NPD process, from concept to completion, including reformulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead efforts with Regulatory, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturers, R&D, and Quality for timely product delivery.
- Supplier Liaison: Source and coordinate with contract manufacturers and formulators serve as the main contact for NPD discussions.
- Formula & Compliance: Review formulations and ensure ingredient/design compliance with regulations.
- Product Testing: Ensure understanding of product challenge tests, stability, and compatibility studies.
- Costing & Pricing: Research market prices, generate product costing, and propose pricing.
- Product Introduction: Conduct product training for marketing teams and sales leaders.
- Post-launch Management: Analyze product performance, manage feedback, and provide technical responses.
- CAPA Response: Address corrective and preventive actions raised by Quality.
- Standard Procedures: Contribute to and implement standard procedures aligned with industry and QMS standards.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and projects to meet company goals.
Requirements:
- Degree in Cosmetics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in product development or management within the cosmetics or skincare industry.
- Preferred Candidates with an interest in marketing within beauty, skincare, personal care, or similar industries is a plus.
