Part B: Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee planning and scheduling for the delivery of new consumer electronic products before commercialization, focusing on new product development and product transfer.
- Coordinate the assembly needs for new products, documenting and managing the entire process from initial stages to design finalization, involving both internal and external coordination.
- Maintain ownership of project scope, schedule, resources, and budget for successful delivery of new electronic devices, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to facilitate a smooth transition from development to mass production, acting as the point of contact between various teams.
- Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to update Bill of Materials (BOM) and specifications, ensuring alignment with Device team's requirements.
- Participate actively in project team meetings to drive solutions and compile comprehensive project status reports, ensuring adherence to project scope and budget.
- Drive operational readiness to support development builds, trial manufacturing, and initial mass production, conducting necessary reviews and compiling detailed reports.
- Contribute to new process development, optimization of existing processes, and implementation of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate product costs and monitor against targets, actively seeking cost reduction opportunities.
- Embrace Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to enhance first-pass yield at product launches, collaborating closely with device and operations teams.
- Ensure systems and procedures compliance with the Organization's Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.
- Undertake any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned by the reporting Senior Management, ensuring efficient execution of tasks.
Part C: Qualifications & Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Etc)
- Diploma and above / relevant Trade Certifications in Electronic / Electrical Systems, Mechanical, or related
- Applicants should ideally possess 10 years of professional experience, with at least minimum 5 years working experience in consumer electronics companies in a similar role or relevant experience in leading medium to large scale projects involving consumer electronics.
Part D: Specific Requirements (Mandatory for the role) (not the same with Part C)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on in Project Management experience. Experience in project management software such as ClickUp is a plus.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality standards/regulatory requirements will be added advantage.
- Project Management, Quality Focus, Database Design, analysing information etc.
- Efficiency in reporting research results, attentive to detail, emphasizing excellence in Innovation
- Able to multi-task, meet deadlines with demonstrated ability to drive improvement
- Strong in Project Management with proven track record.
- Demonstrated strong ability to lead and drive meeting / discussion, communicate issues and resolve conflicts within cross functional teams,
- Good planning and organization skills, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
