Product Engineer

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Product Engineer to join our innovative solar technology team, focusing on the development and optimization of perovskite thin-film solar modules. This role combines materials science expertise with manufacturing process optimization to advance our next-generation solar technology.

. Lead the development and optimization of perovskite solar module manufacturing processes

. Design and execute experiments to improve module efficiency, stability, and scalability

. Analyze production data and implement process improvements to enhance yield and performance

. Collaborate with R&D teams to transition new technologies from lab to manufacturing scale

. Develop and maintain product specifications and process documentation

. Troubleshoot technical issues in the manufacturing process and implement solutions

. Work with suppliers to qualify materials and establish quality control protocols

. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations

Qualifications Requirements

. Bachelor's degree or Master in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

. 3+ years of experience in thin-film solar technology or semiconductor manufacturing

. Strong understanding of perovskite materials and solar cell physics

. Proficiency in characterization techniques (XRD, SEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy)

. Knowledge of statistical process control and Design of Experiments (DOE)

. Experience with scaling up laboratory processes to production

Preferred Qualifications Requirements

. Direct experience with perovskite solar cell fabrication and characterization

. Knowledge of international solar industry standards (IEC, ASTM)

. Experience with automated manufacturing systems and process control

. Background in failure analysis and reliability testing

. Programming skills for data analysis (Python, R, or similar)

. Experience with clean room operations

. Project management experience

Technical Skills Requirements

. Excellent technical skills on Thin-film deposition techniques, materials characterization, process optimization and quality control

. Able to handle data analysis and statistical methods

. Familiar with Clean room protocols and safety and environmental procedures
