About the team
The Product team at Airwallex is a group of passionate builders and problem-solvers who are obsessed with crafting customer-centric solutions that empower businesses to operate anywhere, anytime. What youll do
This role will be part of the Financial Platform product team, building out our capabilities that enable Airwallex product teams to build new products quickly and as independently as possible. This team is critical to the success of the business, needing to capture all financial data to ensure compliance with local regulations and ensuring data accuracy that will drive both programmatic funds movement and financial reporting. You will be responsible for leading high-impact projects from ideation to launch and need to quickly build an understanding of all aspects of the Airwallex business to be successful.
This role is based in Shanghai, Hong Kong or Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the Airwallex ledger and build out capabilities that allow product domains to get product into market quickly
Own the ongoing development and rollout of the reconciliation engine across all internal and external fund flows
Ensure best-in-class financial data accuracy and timeliness to ensure accurate reporting to key stakeholders and management, and additionally enabling optimisation of fund flows
Manage the continued evolution of transaction orchestration, clearing and settlement of transactions against the customer ledger to enable product domains to build new product independently

Minimum Requirements
8+ years of overall professional experience
2+ years of formal people management experience
Experience in a fintech company or professional services firm with financial services ownership
Bachelor's degree or higher with exemplary academic achievements
CA/CPA/CIMA qualification
Additional Requirements
Computer Science, Mathematics or Accountancy education
Financial Advisory or Consulting experience
