What does the job consist:
Key Responsibilities
Soitec continues to reinforce its market position with the growing adoption of our products across four major markets: Mobile Phones, Automotive, Internet of Things and Data Center Solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing key FD-SOI products, enabling:
Continued adoption of our Fully-Depleted Silicon-on-Insulator (FD-SOI) technology,
Improved solutions, for Connecting-the-Unconnected,
Emerging applications in IoT, Image Sensor Processor and Edge Computing markets.
As a member of the Mixed-Signal SOI Business Unit (BU), you will be an active contributor in strategically supporting BU products across various customers and regions and, therefore, have a proven record of professionalism in supporting technical customer engagement. You also enjoy working independently and with a quality focused mind-set. As Product Manager, Mixed-Signal SOI BU you will effectively become the key interface in bringing innovative Soitec technologies to high-volume manufacturability. This multifaceted role requires forging trusted relationships with internal functions and continuous alignment with the General Manager, Mixed-Signal SOI BU.

In order to succeed in this exciting role, we expect you to have demonstrated tangible results in several of the following areas:
Understanding (and differentiating) mechanics of the semiconductor value-chain
Proficiency in negotiating and executing program plans, including acceptance criteria
Proven record of maintaining structure and focus as part of an evolving program
Manage technical development phase for customer products, supporting field-engineering
Proficiency in managing technical review sessions; emphasizing targets, status and issues
Experience in leading internal communications for escalations
Experience in building Product Development Strategies with support from R&D
Ownership of product development cycle including capability reviews is preferred
Definition of key features that mitigate risk of internal manufacturing capabilities
Experience in managing product roadmap with decision gates is highly desirable
Management of product cost structure and its optimization for pricing is highly desirable
Experience in managing semiconductor qualification criteria is highly desired
Experience in balancing customer requirements with internal R&D processes
Proficiency in English is mandatory, multicultural organization is preferred
Proficiency with program management (and issue-tracking) tools is mandatory
Knowledge with program methodologies such as Lean, Agile or SAFe is desired
Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor (or related market) is mandatory
Effective communication skills required to add-value to internal, external partners
Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline) with semiconductors is desired
The position is to be located in Singapore with travel to France
