Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development, strategic planning, and lifecycle management of key product portfolios in the ASEAN market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in medical devices, a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape in ASEAN, and an ability to drive business growth by effectively managing product strategies and local market adaptations.
This position is critical in driving product performance across the region, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful introduction and sustained growth of products in the cardiac, neuro, and radiology portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Development: Lead the product roadmap for assigned portfolios (cardiac, neuro, radiology) in alignment with the global strategy. Define product positioning, customer needs, and competitive landscape within ASEAN.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and customer requirements in the ASEAN healthcare environment. Understand regulatory, reimbursement, and clinical trends that may impact product success.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, clinical affairs, regulatory, and R&D teams to bring products from concept to market. Ensure seamless product launches and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Product Launches: Lead the execution of product launches in ASEAN markets, including developing go-to-market strategies, launch materials, and training for sales teams.
- P&L Management: Take ownership of product portfolio P&L, ensuring that all products meet financial targets and return on investment (ROI).
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, distributors, and other stakeholders within ASEAN to drive product adoption.
- Sales Enablement: Provide product training and support to the sales teams across ASEAN, ensuring that they are equipped to successfully promote and sell the portfolio.
- Regulatory and Compliance: Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure product compliance with local regulations and standards.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management within the medical device industry, with a focus on cardiac, neuro, or radiology products.
- Proven track record of managing product portfolios in ASEAN markets, with experience in navigating diverse regulatory environments.
- Strong experience in product lifecycle management, from concept through commercialization
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of ASEAN healthcare systems, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of regulatory and reimbursement landscapes in the ASEAN region.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel within the ASEAN region to engage with local teams, customers, and stakeholders.
