Source/develop products under house brands or external brands that align with the company's strategic goals.
Plan/control buying budget by brands/suppliers to achieve great merchandising mix and optimal profitability.
Conduct market research to optimize product selection, and development, and identify new opportunities.
Develop competitive pricing strategies and monitor product performance through sales data and customer feedback.
Lead new product launches and cooperate with marketing team to drive successful campaigns and product introductions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve any supplier-related issues promptly.
Support marketing events, trade shows, and promotions to boost product visibility.
Ensure product quality standards for Singapore's market.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail or other related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in product merchandising / buying, with at least 2 years in a senior role, preferably from fashion retail or FMCG industry.
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings.
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier evaluation.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
