About The Team
StraitsX is the pioneering payments infrastructure for digital assets space in Southeast Asia developed by Singapore-based FinTech Xfers, which is a Major Payment Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore for e-money issuance (now part of Fazz). StraitsX offers personal and business accounts to deposit, hold and withdraw funds as well as to connect their accounts to digital asset platforms. Business accounts can also access B2B API-enabled payments rails for digital asset platforms and issues the Singapore Dollar-backed stablecoin, XSGD.
About The Role
- We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to design and build secure and scalable systems to manage our regulated fiat and stablecoin treasuries, including our StraitsX Singapore Dollar (XSGD) and StraitsX U.S. Dollar (XUSD) stablecoins.
- You will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of all Treasury initiatives to ensure secure and compliant custody, timely and accurate reporting, as well as smooth and efficient product operations.
- You will support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Treasury, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Engineering in order to deliver a best-in-class treasury system for safeguarding customer funds and custodising customer digital assets.
What you'll be doing
- Own the product roadmap to ensure the scalability of our fiat and stablecoin treasuries;
- Lead the ideation, research, design, development and launch of treasury platform products;
- Understand and gather regulatory and internal stakeholder product requirements;
- Write and review product specifications to scope out new products in detail;
- Build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (e.g. Treasury, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Data) and the Leadership team;
- Define and monitor metrics that inform product success and health;
- Ensure a smooth system for processing financial audits by implementing robust audit trails and controls;
- Work closely with engineers to design and conduct user acceptance test cases;
- Drive product development with a world-class team of engineers.
What we're looking for
- You have at least 3 years of experience in Product Management;
- You have prior experience in treasury or payments systems;
- You have some familiarity with Web3, stablecoin and/or the broader digital asset industry;
- You have the ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience;
- You have a proven track record of delivering measurable results for both users and business;
- You have strong problem solving skills and the willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done;
- You care deeply about getting the details right in order to ship a best-in-class product;
- You know how to influence people to get things done across any function. People love working with you;
- You are outspoken and have the ability to communicate/escalate concerns and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion before they become issues;
- You are comfortable working in a tech environment with the ability to coordinate across several functions (Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Design, Business Development);
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
