About Trust & Safety
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
About the team
This role sits within the Trust & Safety Operations Intelligence Team, responsible for an intelligence-led approach to enhance operation efficiency and safety, through strategic and automated solutions for moderation efficiency, platform optimization and BPO system solutions.
As a Product Operations Strategy Specialist, you will focus on the main feature's enqueue logic (including video, audio, photo, etc) , queue management, task scheduling and assignment mechanism, aiming at building a robust and cost-effective moderation strategy for T&S.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations intelligence strategy team's management of TikTok short video content safety.
- Identifying system optimization points, formulating strategies, and driving collaboration with algorithm, product, engineering, and frontline teams to implement strategies.
- Better managing content risks, and improving the quality and efficiency of moderation.
- Planning moderation task identification, moderator capability model identification, building moderation task assignment mechanism, and promoting end-to-end implementation. Ensuring effective communication with upstream engineering and algorithm teams, as well as downstream frontline teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Proven experience in strategy, supply-demand resource matching, system intelligence, and large model backend applications.
- Proven experience in large scale process improvement or large scale system enhancements/implemention.
- Strong ability to improve business metrics, simplify decision-making processes, and shorten business workflows through strategies, models, algorithms, and decision systems.
- Strong skills in experimental design and data analysis; high proficiency in excel, data dashboarding/reporting, Sql or other data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) along with strong regional/global stakeholder management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in audio and video/image/content moderation.
- Experience or strong knowledge of data modelling or Large Language Model
- Prior experience in data analysis, product management, or strategic operations is preferred.
