Job Description
- Utilize your expertise in quality management from the construction, metal materials, or related industries to develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans, ensuring that supplier products consistently meet both company and client standards.
- Conduct regular onsite audits and inspections at production facilities across Southeast Asia, requiring at least 50% travel, to evaluate supplier quality and implement improvements based on your industry knowledge.
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives by collaborating closely with suppliers to identify opportunities for enhancement and ensuring the effective execution of quality initiatives.
- Proactively identify quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and work with internal teams and suppliers to implement corrective actions, ensuring long-term product quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal quality standards as well as international standards, including ISO, drawing on your experience in relevant sectors to maintain high-quality performance.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to monitor, assess, and improve their quality management systems, providing expert guidance to meet and exceed quality expectations
The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Construction, or a related discipline, with at least five years of experience in quality control or quality management, ideally within multinational companies or supply chain management.
- Strong expertise in quality control processes, ISO 9001 standards, and proficiency in quality analysis tools.
- Flexibility to travel frequently to Southeast Asia and work on-site at supplier locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and team members.
- A clear ambition to grow and advance into senior quality management roles within the company, with ample opportunities for professional development.
