Preqin's Limited Partner business- which encompasses Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Endowments, Wealth Managers, Family Offices and other private markets investors - is making private capital investing intelligent and efficient with innovative solutions in data, benchmarks, analytics software, research and services. We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Product Specialist.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop a deep understanding of financial data products, including features, benefits, and applications in the market. Preferrable, intermediate knowledge private markets
- Client Collaborate with clients to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring they maximize the value of our offerings
- Conduct research to understand our white space opportunity across multiple markets and customer personas, competitor offerings, and industry trends that may impact our product development
- Provide training and ongoing support to clients and internal teams, ensuring they understand and are equipped to utilize our products effectively
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to gather feedback, identify key target prospects and drive continuous improvement of our product suite
- Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and training materials
What you'll bring to us:
- 5+ years of experience in a product specialist, sales specialist, or similar role within a financial services provider, or in a financial institution
- Proven success in interfacing with client-facing teams and leading pre-sales support and solution development that involves complex financial @ Preqin Strictly private and confidential data
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand how our new products are performing and explore how we should approach pricing and packaging
- Experience developing educational materials and delivering training on the use of financial data products or workflow products support continuous improvement of the knowledge and materials used by sales enablement with regard to our product offering
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
