We are seeking an a Production Planner to join our UAV team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) while optimizing resources and maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills and with a deep understanding of production planning and supply chain management.
Job Description:
a. Production Scheduling:
- Develop and implement detailed production schedules for UAV manufacturing, ensuring timely and efficient production.
- Adjust schedules based on changing demands, resource availability and unforeseen delays.
b. Inventory and Material Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure all materials and components are available.
- Optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
c. Capacity Planning:
- Analyze production capacity and proposed allocation of resources (machinery, manpower, materials) to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure production aligns with available resources and equipment maintenance schedules.
d. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Coordinate between engineering, procurement, quality assurance and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Work closely with program manager, quality control and procurement teams to align production with project timelines and customer demands.
e. Production Monitoring:
- Track production progress, identify bottlenecks and proactively adjust schedules to mitigate potential delays.
- Ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
f. Data Reporting:
- Generate and present regular reports on production performance, inventory levels and resource utilization.
g. Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure assmebled UAVs meet company standards
Job Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in either Supply Chain Management, Production/Operations Management or any related field.
- Possess 3 years of experience in production planning
- Proficiency in SAP production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPo (optional but preferred)
