Our client is a the premier provider of branded packaging and product for the luxury segment.
Responsibilities
Reporting to: Production & Development Manager
The Production Specialist is responsible for identifying production solutions and documenting technical details for all packaging productions, in Asia.
- Ensure packaging designs are aligned with manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all raw materials, printing details and production process are documented and executed from sampling to main production.
- Visit mills, printers, and converters to perform suppliers assessments, press checks, quality inspections, lead discussions for improvement, etc.
- Act as key liaison between Production & Development Manager and Suppliers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in printing and/or production of packaging.
- Good knowledge of printing, hot stamping, paper production, and all-inclusive materials.
- Fluency in Chinese and English to communicate effectively with factories in China.
- Ability to travel, regularly.
- Six Sigma certification is ideal.
Other Information
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-18:00PM
- Salary: $6,000 to 7,000 (negotiable)
