What you'll do
Ensures all production occurs in line with Lidls strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
Through weekly cross team meetings ensure IANs in development are planned in accordance with supplier lead timers (Ensures TnA compliance)
Ensure TnAs for each IAN confirmed in each Selection is accurate and correct
Work with our QC Teams to ensure in factory TnA is line with what was agreed at OC Stage
Ensure handover meetings occur for all IANs and DEFEND the PP Line
Ensure PP meetings are conducted in line with suppliers TnA
PP meeting agreements are detailed to ensure quality is consistent across entire production
Provide manufacturing technical support and procedure to reduce manufacturing costs and / or improve quality levels and production efficiency when identified
Be responsible for headcount planning, training and personal development of the team
Notify key stakeholders of any major or critical production and quality issues identified whilst in factory and follow up and close off outstanding CAPs with the supplier in question
Participate in Kick Off and Quality Assurance meetings, Risk Assessments, Supplier, and Third Party Laboratory meetings as set or requested by Production & QC Director
Work with the Process & Project team to produce comprehensive reports including traffic light reporting of QC team inspections results, non-conformances and activities of suppliers or factories
Drive continuous improvement, simplification and efficiencies of the QC processes
What you'll need
Diploma or degree in textiles or related discipline
At least 8 - 10 years experience in sizable direct sourcing company with European garment market, with at least 5 years experience at Managerial Level
Possess strong leadership and managerial skills with sound problem solving techniques
In depth technical knowledge in raw materials, wovens / knits and sweater garments
Good command of both spoken and written English. Additional languages is an advantage
Good command of Microsoft applications Word & Excel & Lotus Notes
A can do attitude with entrepreneurial spirit is a must
Frequent travel is required
