The Production Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining an uninterrupted supply of gasses and chemicals to customers, installing containers punctually and maintaining system health. Your responsibilities include error-free issuance of portable packages, timely collection of hazardous waste, adherence to safety procedures, and proactive measures to prevent incidents, ensuring compliance with stringent safety, quality, and reliability standards set by both the company and the customer.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
During daily routine TGCM site operation:
Maintain and operate bulk and specialty gas delivery equipment, including troubleshooting recovery of gas and chemical equipment.
Perform daily rounds, recording readings, conducting system and facilities inspections, monitoring gas and chemical systems, and managing cylinder/drum/pallet/trailer changes.
Engage in Air Liquide and customer programs, emphasizing safety,quality, reliability and continuous improvement.
Operate TGCM gas and chemical systems following established procedures and instructions.
Safety / Quality / Risk Management:
Adhere to HSE and quality procedures, including proper PPE usage, forklift operations, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and safety protocols.
Follow correct procedures for handling spills, gas leaks, emergencies, material transfilling, and material segregation.
Identify hazards and unsafe acts, promoting a safe working environment.
Demonstrate positive workplace safety attitudes of attentiveness, eagerness, alertness, carefulness, seriousness, and being task-focused, team-oriented.
Serve as an Emergency Response Team member.
Ensure compliance with local legislation and Industrial Management System (IMS) requirements.
Ensuring customer satisfaction:
Foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
Proactively identify customer needs and prevent customer complaints.
Staff training and development:
Attend planned training sessions to achieve required competency levels for TGCM operations.
Continuously upgrade skills through both internal and external training programs.
Are you a MATCH
Diploma in related engineering or Higher National ITE Certificate or equivalent.
Preferably possess a minimum of 1-year experience a manufacturing/industrial environment, particularly with hazardous materials, with a preference for semiconductor, chemical, or industrial gas experience.
Possess experience with safety aspects of gas and chemical distribution in the electronics industry is a plus.
Possessing a forklift driving license will be a plus.
Exhibit good communication skills for effective customer interaction.
General knowledge of engineering disciplines, operation & maintenance
Organized with basic computer skills.
