Hello Kaki! Were a team of professional shoe fitters in Katong, and were looking for a kaki who will help us serve folks from all walks of life at our little orthopaedic footwear shop.
No experience is necessarywe welcome applicants from all backgrounds! But you must be a hands-on person who believes in good old kampung values. After all, we want you to grow with us on our mission to serve the wider community!

- Assist the shoe fitting team with serving customers
e.g. cashiering, sales, managing and updating customer records.
- Host our visitors and kakis:
e.g. make visitors feel welcome and at ease, ensure visitors dont cut the queue, etc.
e.g., Answering the phone, attending to WhatsApp messages, fulfilling orders, etc.
- Simple inventory management:
e.g. restocking shelves, counting stocks, requesting stock transfers, etc.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitising footwear (relax... we have a machine for that).
- Some daily tidying up to keep our little shop pleasant for everyone.
- A little TLC for the cute cats and dogs in our windows.

- Its full-time onsite retail hours.
- _Agak-agak_ up to 40 hours a week.
- Shifts will be arranged for a 5-day workweek.
- Tuesday - Saturday:
- 00 am - 8.00 pm- Sunday: 12.00 pm- 6.00 pm.- Weekend shifts are required (_hey, its retail_)
- Off on Mondays and public holidays.- 1 other off day will be arranged per week.
- Starting salary begins at $2,100 per month.
- Salary/gaji is negotiable, of course.
- Probation period of 3 months.
- Commission will be introduced after probation is passed.
- 14 days of annual leave. Medical and hospitalisation leave provided.

- Its still retail/service work in Singapore.
Customers can be... demanding. But weve got each others backs.
- Some footwear products contain pigskin leather.
Gloves are provided. Still... we need you to be ok with that.
- Its work that keeps the body fit.
We must climb step ladders, move shoeboxes and kneel/squat fairly often.
- You will see a lot of feet.
Most of our kakis have foot injuries, disabilities, or other complex conditions. Its not a job for the squeamish...
- Apprenticeship & Further Training Pathway
Complete on-the-job training is provided, but we need you to be open to learning on the job (and doing some self-study). Not gonna sugarcoat it: Professional shoe fitting is a _meaningful_ but _demanding_ vocation.
Suppose you find your calling in the profession and decide to step up yay! In that case, we have planned a pathway to train, support, and sponsor the candidate to attain professional shoe-fitting skills and qualifications.

Youll learn much about medical foot conditions and how footwear can rehabilitate injuries. Medical and product knowledge is constantly progressing, so every day is a learning day. and we learn together as a team!
- Must be fluent in English.
Additional spoken languages like Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and dialects would also be useful for communicating with non-English-speaking visitors.
- No experience is necessary.
