Your new role
This role will be part of the Wealth Management (WM) COO APAC in Singapore, and you'll be working in the Professional Trading Services team for Singapore under Front Support Office. The scope of work includes close collaboration with client advisors, business, and internal stakeholders in Wealth Management and Investment Bank to ensure that eligible clients have access to our various professional trading services across the Bank. You are at the centre of the execution of end to end onboarding processes, and you will act as a business enabler to help Global Investment Bank generate revenue.
What you'll need to succeed
2 to 5 years of experience in Wealth management Onboarding review
Highly proactive and diligent in follow up and follow through. Client focused, organised on bundling of requests and sensitive On turnaround time
Good understanding of regulatory/investment suitability standards and have a general sense of risk awareness together with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem-solving.
Risk conscious with emphasis on sensitive data sharing
Proactive and self-dependent working style, a self-starter with a sense of initiative, who demonstrates drive and commitment and the ability to motivate others.
Good interpersonal skills and confidence with good presentation skills in engaging with diverse stakeholders in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
What you'll get in return
Act as an Onboarding specialist to clients and IB advisor on onboarding and renewal cases for various professional products and services across the Bank.
Provide assistance to the front office regarding the onboarding / offboarding process, eligibility assessment, approvals, technical set up and annual review.
Responsible for timely reply to client advisor queries.
Perform internal assessment against the onboarding criteria and requirements;
Work collaboratively with major stakeholders including product owners, IB specialists, business risk & compliance professionals from different functions and divisions.
Maintain and manage the governance documentation of the various frameworks.
Support product and business owners in designing efficient processes, support business change initiatives, challenge the status quo and be proactive towards innovation / change management.
Mitigate any operational / regulatory risk identified and to support remediation actions and audit reviews where required.
Think flexibly to propose new ideas and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services.
