Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver Leidos programs in Asia Pacific. Responsible for the achievement of program scope, schedule, P&L, quality and technical objectives. Responsible to identify, update and mitigate program risk in various phases, from pre sales, contract award, program execution, service transition and service phase. Ensure project revenue targets and cash collection. Track project ETC (Estimate to Complete) and EAC (Estimate at Complete) against budget baseline. Manage customers, sub-contractors, distributors and internal/external team communication and relationship. Responsible for the successful completion of program, on scope, on time and on cost. Develop detailed program work plans that may include manufacturing, research and development (R&D), installation, maintenance to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness. Perform the role of an on-site program manager when required, prepare method statement and risk assessment, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure a safe and successful installation. Develop and execute an internal and external communication plan for each program. Communicate effectively with internal and external state holders. Provide timely reports and information to program stakeholders. Ensure that all documentation meets the companys and contractual requirements. Support the Sales, Service and other functions in pursuit of regional sales and service opportunities. Support the transition from Program to Field Service Support. Including the planning and maintaining of adequate supply of spare parts. Support in tender preparation, request for proposal/quotation (RFP/RFQ). Prepare compliance matrix, technical proposal and presentations.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics or Management
More than 12 years of work experience, with at least 6 years of project management and people management experience with an international organization
Prior experience in management of capital equipment / systems projects or programs.
Proven ownership of project scope, budget and schedule and the ability to demonstrate it
Proven experience handing projects or programs with contract value in excess of 1 million Singapore Dollars would be an advantage.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification would be an advantage.
Work experience in an x-ray, baggage systems, IT, building control systems, building automation systems or defense and security related environment would be an advantage. Other relevant work experience includes control systems, planning and logistics.
Experience in multiple stakeholder management with an ability to plan and execute a stakeholder management strategy.
Experience in high-reliability or mission-critical, 24x7 environment.
Excellent organizational skills
An understanding of computers and operating systems, with some network knowledge will be an advantage.
Team player with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage varying levels of customers and company personnel and get things done through people.
Strong customer focus with the ability to develop good internal and external customer relationships.
Ability to make sound business decisions independently.
Ability to travel within Asia Pacific, sometimes at short notice.
