As an Authorised Adoption Agency, Fei Yue provides mandatory Adoption Briefings and Adoption Suitability Assessment to applicants. Additionally, we also provide child matching assistance, counselling support for birth mothers with unplanned pregnancy and adoptive families, as well as post-adoption services such as support group activities, parenting talks and disclosure coaching. You will ensure information and support is provided to adoption applicants and adoptive families efficiently and effectively. You will journey through with couples who seek to form a family or strengthen family ties through adoption.
Responsibilities:
You will be expected to:
Communicate with adoption applicants through phone call, email or text message. Provide applicants with accurate information on eligibility requirements and guidance on adoption processes.
Work closely with key stakeholders Accredited Adoption Agencies, MSF and China Center for Childrens Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA).
Process new adoption applications (FormSG) and refer complex cases for pre-adoption consultation/screening. Examine and ensure complete submission of application forms and supporting documents by applicants.
Ensure proper filing of adoption documents, maintain adoption databases and safeguard data security.
Process incoming and outgoing payments, prepare purchase quotes.
Plan and coordinate adoption briefings (i.e. schedule briefing dates and publish them on BookingSG, source for speakers, set up delivery platform, process incoming payments and issue attendance letter).
Process PRC cases (i.e. preparation and submission of adoption dossiers to CCCWA, provide instructions for applicants to notify birth parents on submission of placement documents, monitor progress and approval)
Provide administrative support for post adoption services organised by Adoption Assessors.
Provide administrative support for adoption meetings, update half-yearly/year-end report and website information.
Requirements:
Possess a Degree/Diploma with at least 3 years experience in social service setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with government agencies and adoption applicants.
Organised, meticulous and adaptable to changes.
Passionate about working for children in need of adoptive families.
