Programme Executive (DSC)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead in planning and facilitating individual and group activities such as craft, painting, baking, etc.
• Assist with therapy under supervision of the healthcare professionals.
• Acquire consumables necessary for activities and oversee maintenance of Club equipment.
• Prepare consumables or samples for activities.
• Perform admin work and documentation such as maintenance of float, admission registration, monitor grants KPIs, capturing of outcome measures, etc.
• Screen and assess Persons with Dementia and Persons with Young On-set Dementia for programme suitability.
• Provide support for carers of clients attending programme through informal support group and training sessions.
• Provide orientation and guidance to volunteers/junior staff.
• Assist to oversee Club operations.
• Facilitate in introduction of pilot therapies for clients attending programme.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least GCE A Level or Diploma (in eldercare field) and above.
• Passionate to work with elderly.
• Leadership quality and good team player.
• Creative and hands-on person in strength in either craft work or baking/cookery skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
