Key Responsibilities:
Examination Management
- Perform technical reviews and checks on the SCAQ professional and foundation exam papers.
- Work with examiners or co-examiners in the setting and revision of examination questions, answers and marking guides for the technical modules and ensure that the examination questions are set at an appropriate level that meets the standard and rigor required for the programme.
- Assist with exam-day administration, including resolution of invigilation matters.
- Manage the exam marking processes, including liaising with markers, managing of exam appeals according to applicable frameworks and policies.
- Analyse exam results, pass rates for presentation to the examination committees.
- Support the secretarial duties of workgroups and committees, including material preparation, presentation at meetings, etc.
University Accreditation
- Work with educational institutions based locally and overseas on the review of syllabus and course requirements to support the accreditation and reaccreditation of university degrees according to prescribed frameworks and policies.
- Communicate and engage stakeholders in educational institutions on relevant changes and updates to the programme
International Recognition and Programme Reviews
- Work with external stakeholders such as overseas professional bodies and government agencies.
- Participate in the review, assessment and /or negotiation process in connection with module interchangeability, mutual credit recognition, mutual recognition agreements and/ or reciprocity agreements with professional accountancy bodies globally.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and forge strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry associations, and relevant organisations to enhance the programme's credibility and reach both locally and overseas.
- Collaborate with partners to co-create initiatives that drive candidate engagement and enrolment.
Other projects and events
Participate in various department/ institute projects and events relating to the programme.
Requirements:
- A good Accountancy degree from a recognised university is preferred.
- At least 3 to 6 years of working experience in accountancy related fields. Having experience in education or adult learning would be an advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Meticulous with a strong attention to details
- Ability to prepare and carry-out well-articulated presentations.
- Good written and oral skills.
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
