Overview
As a Project Coordinator, you would work closely with clients to schedule, plan, monitor, forecast, resource and manage all the project activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. You will be involved in getting shop-drawings approved and proposed rectifications on any defects found. You will ensure that the documentation system is always up to date and in line with ISO guidelines and customers expectation.
Responsibilities
1) Work closely between Singapore and Malaysia Plant to ensure smooth delivery of materials and precast components at sites.
2) Work closely with cross department team to ensure information and issues are clearly defined and resolved.
3) Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
4) Attend site meetings, feedback on sites progress and schedules, justify defects components and arrange for rectification, pre-delivery and post-delivery activities, etc.
5) Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
6) Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.
7) Plan, manage and coordinate projects to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and of highest quality.
8) Liaise with the client, consultant, vendors, subcontractors and other relevant parties on field / factory inspection issues pertaining to the quality and project issues.
9) Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistances and technical support.
10) Attend required interdepartmental meetings including providing relevant updates on the status of project and QC matters and to obtain and relay information which may impact the project pipeline.
11) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.
Requirements
1) Minimum Degree in Civil / Building / Construction or equivalent.
2) Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a Precast or Building & Construction environment with at least 1 year of supervisory capacity.
3) Knowledge of HDB precast construction practices and erection sequence.
4) Knowledge of relevant Statutory requirements and compliances.
5) Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
6) Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people of all levels.
7) Willing to work on Sundays or Public Holidays if required.
8) Proficient in Microsoft Office.
9) Someone with a Class 3 Driving License will be advantage.
