. Lead, oversee, and plan the development of autonomous vehicle learning platforms.
. Identify and develop autonomous vehicle hardware and software stacks.
. Actively drive projects to improve existing platform features and add new features to complement and expand the capabilities of the system.
. Engage and mentor Master's and Undergraduate students as well as industry attachment interns.
. Collaborate with other research engineers and coordinate various activities at the Advanced Robotics Centre.
. Bachelor's degree in engineering related to robotics field.
. Familiar with vehicle structures, electronics, vehicle kinematics and dynamics.
. Experience with autonomous vehicles Drive-by-Wire (DBW) systems and control.
. Proficiency in CAD/CAM and fast prototyping.
. Familiar with open-source autonomous driving frameworks such as Apollo, Autoware, etc.
. Proficiency in robotics middleware and simulation tools (ROS, Gazebo, Carla, SUMO, Carsim (preferred)).
. Experience in C/C++ and Python development.
. Experience in autonomous vehicles and robotics full-stack development is preferred.
. Experience in remote control system development is preferred.
. Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.
. Meticulous organizer with a positive and can-do attitude.
. Strong team player with the ability to lead projects.
. Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
