Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. This role will provide support in managing and executing engineering projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will assist with project planning, execution, and coordination to help achieve project milestones effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of engineering projects, ensuring timely progress and completion.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design plans, and updates for stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Support quality control processes to ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Technical Support: Work closely with Senior Project Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise on-site.
- Supplier and Vendor Liaison: Assist in coordinating with suppliers and vendors for project resources, equipment, and material procurement.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all engineering activities align with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Cost Management: Assist with budget tracking and cost management to maintain financial discipline within project timelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project) and CAD software. Familiarity with GMP, safety regulations, and industry standards is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
