Overseeing the preparation, scheduling, coordination, and supervision of assigned engineering projects.
Ensuring compliance with project requirements, reviewing drawings for accuracy, and addressing technical inquiries.
Engaging with clients to understand and interpret their needs (including site surveys and data gathering).
Participating in project meetings and implementing follow-up actions.
Developing detailed work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning.
Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiating corrective measures as needed.
Managing project changes, identifying potential crises, and creating contingency plans.
Conducting quality control assessments and overseeing project handover.
Providing regular project status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitating coordination among various parties-clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, design, sales, production, warehouse, site leader and purchasing teams-to ensure a seamless project handover.
Reviewing engineering drawings and collaborating with the design team to resolve any discrepancies.
Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction (civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, or electrical work) would be an advantage.
Degree in engineering, architecture, or building science.
Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and requirements.
Proficient in MS Office and skilled in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
