Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Able to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately
- Previous experience in the building construction field is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Use of Autocad would be an advantage
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Tasks & responsibilities
- Study on contract requirements, planning, and execution of project schedules.
- Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution.
- To prepare method statements, risk assessment, progress report and technical submissions.
- To work at site and arrange manpower, materials for project daily.
- To supervise the construction works and coordinate / attend meeting with client's representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on project and technical matters.
- Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard.
- Other ad-hoc duties when assigned.
