COMPANY DESCRIPTION
We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
DESIGNATION : Project Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with project team with regards to the development of project plan and the project schedule.
Work with PCs to ensure permits approvals are obtained from appropriate authorities before work starts.
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish and allocating it effectively.
Manage resource constrains when it arises.
Track and monitor project costs.
Manage team performance and addressing/resolving any issues or conflicts when it arises.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to project team, providing direction, support and guidance so that they can do the delegated tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Provide training to staff and/or ensure staffs can improve in providing value to their work.
Reporting regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders.
Manage relations with PUB and Consultants and also ensure other stakeholders are well engaged.
Managing stakeholder expectations and addressing their needs and concerns.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Assist in technical documentation during tender stages of the project.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
Minimum 3 year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
Those with experience in underground utilities especially water pipes will be advantageous
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Service-oriented client relationship and people
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license
OTHER INFORMATION
6 days work week
Working location: Sungei Kadut (with company transportation provided at Woodlands and Kranji MRT Station)
