Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with the Project Manager's directives.
Lead and supervise the site team and subcontractors under your charge.
Assist in project planning and coordinate manpower and material deployment.
Foster strong relationships with site workers, contractors, and suppliers.
Manage all aspects of site operations, including planning, cost control, shop drawing submissions, and approvals.
Implement any changes in the project plan as instructed by the main contractor and consultants.
Handle complex Excel spreadsheet content for: a) Reporting engineering resource needs for ongoing and forecasted work. b) Preparing progressive claims and reports for the main contractor and consultants. c) Responding to subcontractor queries and justifying their work progress.
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Uphold Safety and Health Standards at the construction site.
Promptly report any site accidents to the Project Manager.
Maintain a safe construction site free of hazards or dangerous materials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with large-scale electrical systems.
Strong expertise in electrical systems, particularly in handling authorities requirements.
Proficient in interpreting engineering documents such as schematics, circuit diagrams, and piping layouts.
Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment, voltage tester, etc.
Independent worker with excellent teamwork skills.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and system issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with Autodesk software (especially BIM).
