Job Duties:
Project Planning and Implementation:
- Create detailed project plans for solar energy systems, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Track project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements for solar and EV infrastructure are met.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing regular project updates.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasts and expenditures, for solar initiatives.
- Arrange for procurement of materials, equipment, and resources essential for project execution.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize resource utilization.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Enforce quality assurance protocols to maintain compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Oversee regulatory requirements, including obtaining permits and approvals for project execution.
Risk Management:
- Assess potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact.
- Address challenges proactively to ensure smooth project progression and successful delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 34 years of experience, primarily in solar project management.
- Prior experience in solar project execution is advantageous.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (PVsyst), AutoCAD, and construction modeling tools.
- A results-driven team player who is independent, creative, customer-focused, and passionate about renewable energy.
