What You'll Do
- Oversee the safe and timely delivery of gas renewal & reinforcement projects in various parts of Singapore.
- Manage a team of technical officers and contractors in carrying out gas pipeline renewal projects within schedule and budget.
- Prepare technical specifications and key commercial documents for the calling of tenders, as well as to evaluate tender returns.
- Engage stakeholders, Authorities (e.g. EMA), Agencies (e.g. LTA, PUB), consultants and contractors to resolve project issues.
- Monitor and provide regular updates on projects progress, budget, and resource status.
- Preparations of Safe Work Procedure for live gas works, as well as supervision of live gas works.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance to statutory & contractual safety and quality requirements.
- Perform Standby Duties (e.g. attending to project issues and/or gas leak incidents) after office-hours.
What You'll Need
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from university recognized by Singapore PE Board
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Project Management
- Experience dealing with external stakeholders such as Authorities/Agencies.
- Willing to spend time out in the field for construction and commissioning activities at multiple different locations in Singapore
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
- Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
- Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous
